Ari Koivunen

Finnish metallic vocalist who earned the truth singing competition Idols in 2007. He released his Dual Platinum-selling debut record Gasoline for the Fireplace later that calendar year and became the frontman for the specialized death metal music group Amoral in 2008. Ahead of his Idols success, he gained the Finnish Karaoke Championships and emerged in third on the Karaoke Globe Championships the same calendar year. His 2007 record Gasoline For The Fireplace marketed 10,000 copies in its initial week and remained at #1 over the Finnish record graphs for 12 weeks, rendering it the fastest-selling Finnish record ever sold. He was created in Kouvola, Finland. He continues to be bandmates with guitarist Ben Varon in Amoral.
