American country music singer who founded the united states singing group The Carter Family members. He wrote tunes like “No Major depression in Heaven.” He was created to parents Robert C. Carter and Mollie Arvelle Bays and was raised in an unhealthy part of Virginia known as Maces Springtime. He was inducted in to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Popularity in 1970. He wedded Sara Dougherty in 1915 as well as the few had three kids.
