Antonio Salieri

Italian traditional composer who served as the director from the Italian opera from 1774 to 1792. As a kid, he would frequently run away at home to listen to his brother’s concertos. He was immortalized in the Oscar-winning 1984 film Amadeus, which received eight Oscars including Greatest Picture. He received his 1st musical education from his sibling, violinist Francesco Salieri. He was portrayed in the film Amadeus by well known acting professional F. Murray Abraham.
