Antonio Lauro

Widely regarded as perhaps one of the most important and influential South American composers from the 20th century. He was a multi-instrumentalist who performed piano and violin furthermore to his preferred instrument, your guitar. He was trained by composer Vicente Emilio Sojo on the Academia de Música y Declamación. He was presented to classical electric guitar repertoire by Raúl Borges. He was incarcerated from 1951 until 1952 by General Marcos Pérez Jiménez because he vocally advocated for democratic guideline. He was trained electric guitar by his dad, a barber from Italy, but used formal research after his father’s untimely loss of life. He was known as “the Strauss of electric guitar” by famous composer John Williams.
