Antonin Artaud

Legendary French playwright, actor, and theater director who wrote The Theater and Its Increase, which describes his idea of The Theater of Cruelty. He was drafted in to the French military, but afterwards discharged because of constant sleepwalking. He sometimes acted, as well, playing the monk in The Interest of Joan of Arc. He previously eight siblings. During regular remains at a mental organization, getting treated for schizophrenia among other activities, he would often browse Edgar Allan Poe.
