British songwriter and spoken-word poet whose albums included Unstill Life from 1991 and Pressure Factors from 1985. She fallen out of college at age group 16 and worked well like a psychiatric medical center nurse before going for a work at an area record shop. She released her debut recording, The Sitting Space, in 1982 and became known for fusing digital, dance, and avant-garde varieties of music with spoken-word poetry. She was created in London for an Irish mom and a Scottish dad. She and fellow English composer Lisa Gerrard had been both associated with the Dark Influx motion in music.
