Anna Katharine Green

An American poet and novelist from the past due 19th and early 20th centuries, she was among the initial writers within the detective fiction genre. Her most well-known detective novels are the Leavenworth Case (1878) and Marked “Personal” (1893). She originally attempt to compose romantic verse. Nevertheless, her detective books produced her a bestselling writer. She published almost forty books, including A Unusual Disappearance (1880) and Dark Hollow (1914). She was raised in NEW YORK. She wedded Charles Rohlfs in 1884. She corresponded with Ralph Waldo Emerson when she was youthful.
