Anna Jarvis

American woman who became popular for creating and establishing the vacation of Mother’s Time in the U.S. She campaigned for Mother’s Time for seven years before it had been finally made standard in 1914. Following the establishment of Mother’s Time, she became bitter about its commercialization and spent the others of her lifestyle campaigning against that. Ironically, she under no circumstances married and got no kids. She went to Mary Baldwin University, where the celebrity Tallulah Bankhead also matriculated.
