Indian film author of more than 90 movies from 1935 until 1965. He was acknowledged with presenting orchestral music into Indian movie theater and was a pioneer of playback performing. He was a kid star in regional theatre and became an achieved vocalist. He spent enough time in prison during his university years for his involvement within the Indian Self-reliance Movement. He was presented with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Honor, the best Indian recognition directed at performers, in 1965. He was wedded twice, first towards the celebrity Ashalata and to playback vocalist Meena Kapoor. He had written the rating for 1944’s “Jwar Bhatta,” the debut film for acting professional Dilip Kumar.
