Angela Davis


African-American activist, author, and professor who was simply mixed up in Civil Legal rights Movement and harbored Communist sympathies. Her mom was a respected organizer from the Southern Negro Congress, a business heavily influenced with the Communist Party. She founded Important Resistance, a jail reform organization set up with the purpose of abolishing the prison-industrial complicated. Her father controlled a service place in Birmingham, Alabama, and her mom was a college teacher. Her participation using the Communist Party led Leader Ronald Reagan to get to ban her from teaching at California colleges.
