Angela Aki

Well-known for her Japanese chart-topping albums House (2006), Today (2007), and Response (2009), this pop vocalist, pianist, and songwriter can be significant for “This Like,” “Tegami (Haikei Jugo zero Kimi e),” “Sakurairo,” and several additional hit singles. She began playing the piano before her 4th birthday and researched music in the Iolani College in Hawaii before making a bachelor’s level in political technology from Washington, D.C.’s George Washington College or university. Her 2012 recording Songbook compiles her addresses of Western tracks. Created in Itano and elevated in Tokushima and Okayama, Japan and Hawaii, U.S.A., she was created for an American mom of Italian descent along with a Japanese dad. After her short relationship to music maker Tony Alany finished in divorce, she welcomed a boy with her second spouse, Taro Hamano. In the first 2000s, gaming music composer Nobuo Uematsu employed Aki to execute the Final Dream XII theme music “Kiss Me Good-Bye.”
