Andy Cooper

Biography

Referred to as “Lefty,” he pitched in the Negro Leagues for the Detroit Stars and Kansas City Monarchs from 1920 to 1939 and managed the Monarchs from 1937 to 1940. He created his skills as an adolescent, before learning to be a professional at age group 22. In 2006, he was inducted in to the Football Hall of Popularity posthumously. He was created in Waco, Tx. He was section of a 2006 Hall of Popularity course that included Bruce Sutter.
