Andrzej Wajda

Polish director known for his trilogy of war films: A Era from 1954, Kanal from 1956, and Ashes and Gemstones from 1958. He became a member of the Polish level of resistance in 1942 and offered in the Armia Krajowa. He was nominated for an Academy Honor for Best SPANISH Film many times for The Guaranteed Property from 1975, The Maids of Wilko from 1979, Man of Iron from 1981, and Katyń from 2007. His dad was murdered from the Soviets in 1940 in that which was referred to as the Katyn massacre. His 2002 humor Revenge featured movie director Roman Polanski as an acting professional.
