Professional hockey defenseman known for his seven-year stint using the Boston Bruins, including a Stanley Glass victory in 2011. He continued to serve as captain for just two years using the Edmonton Oilers. He performed his main junior hockey using the Portland Winter season Hawks from the WHL and was the 208th general pick from the 1997 NHL Draft. He performed for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Calgary Flames before becoming a member of Boston. While playing for Calgary, he collaborated with David Suzuki to make a carbon-offset system for NHL players. His charitable function gained him a Ruler Clancy Memorial Trophy following the 2013-2014 time of year. He wedded Krista Bradford in 2002. The few offers two daughters.
