Andrew Clements


American writer whose debut children’s novel, Frindle, received the Christopher Award and 15 other literary awards. His other functions include the Household pets to the Save series, the Jake Drake books, and stand-alone books entitled Lunch Cash, Lost and Discovered, and We the kids. He earned a qualification in English books from Northwestern College or university and received his master’s in primary education from Country wide Louis College or university. Early in his profession, he worked like a songwriter. He received the 2007 Edgar Allan Poe Honor for his children’s publication, Space One: A Secret or Two. He grew up in Camden, NJ and Springfield, Illinois. He and his wife, Rebecca, possess four sons: Charles, George, Nathaniel and John. He and writer Karen Hesse possess both earned Christopher Awards.
