Andreas Staier

Harpsichordist, fortepiano soloist, and chamber music performer whose repertoire spanned the 17th, 18th, and 19th generations. He was a piano pupil under Kurt Bauer and Erika Haase. He caused the ensemble group Musica Antiqua Köln as the harpsichord soloist from 1983 until 1986. His family members was surviving in Göttingen when he was created. He and Edgar Froese both became well-known German multi-instrumentalists.
