Amos Bronson Alcott

Transcendentalist body known for his innovative educational strategies and writings and his Utopian community experiments. He initial worked being a journeying salesman; nevertheless, he discovered this lifestyle harmful to his spirit and turned to a teaching profession. He was a good friend of fellow Transcendentalist writer, Ralph Waldo Emerson. He wedded Abby May in 1830. Jointly, that they had four daughters. He was the daddy of “Small Women” writer, Louisa Might Alcott.
