Ambrose Bierce

American fiction author and journalist who’s most widely known for his 1891 brief story, “An Event at Owl Creek Bridge.” He also famously released a satirical function known as The Devil’s Dictionary. When he was fifteen years of age, he left house to function for an Ohio newspapers. He continued to serve in the Union Military during several crucial battles from the American Civil Battle. He later on pursued a composing profession in both London and SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. Leaving behind just a notice that examine, “Concerning me, I keep right here tomorrow for an unfamiliar destination,” he vanished permanently in 1913. His destiny remains a secret. He separated from his wife, Mollie Day time, in 1888 after finding characters from her enthusiast. The couple had been parents to three kids: Day time, Leigh, and Helen. Kurt Vonnegut was influenced by Bierce’s function.
