Known for such strike tracks as “I’VE Loved Me A GUY,” “Are You Lonesome Tonight?,” and “EASILY Said YOU’D A LOVELY Body Would YOU POSSESS It Against Me?,” this New Zealand-born pop celebrity of the past due 1960s and early 1970s received the Australian Queen of Pop Award for three consecutive years. When she was simply fourteen years of age, she signed using the Zodiac Information label and documented a favorite cover of “Can’t You Listen to My Heartbeat” (a music originally popularized from the British music group Herman’s Hermits). She became well-known for her music aswell for her incredibly long, reddish-brown locks. Her relationship to music maker Howard Gable finished in the past due 1970s throughout a period when she was experiencing heroin craving. She and fellow pop celebrity John Farnham collaborated on the 1971 album entitled Together.
