A MacArthur Genius Grant-winning classical cellist, she actually is notable on her behalf Leonard Bernstein Prize-winning overall performance in the Schleswig-Holstein Music Event, as well for her Caramoor International Music Event overall performance of composer Lera Auerbach’s 24 Preludes for Cello and Piano. She started training like a cellist when she was simply four years of age and produced her debut using the Cleveland Orchestra at age thirteen.
