Aliki Diplarakou

Initial Greek winner from the Miss European countries pageant who used her fame to teach audiences in america on historic and contemporary Greek culture. She added infamy to her job application when she disguised herself as a guy and sneaked in to the inviolate Support Athos monks’ sanctuary. She was fluent in a number of languages, including British, French and Italian. She was wedded two times, initial to French aviator Paul-Louis Weiller and second to British diplomat Sir John (Jack port) Wriothesley Russell. Her sister, Cristina Diplarakos, wedded Paul Claudel’s kid, Henri.
