She started employed in Hollywood like a secretary and script young lady, her beauty ultimately getting her before the camcorder. She was solid by Warner Brothers like a singer-actress, the studio’s response to Clara Bow. She was created Alva White colored to French and Italian parents and dropped her mom when she was three. She starred in the 1928 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, compiled by Anita Loos.
