Algirdas Julien Greimas

A Lithuanian linguist who was simply known as perhaps one of the most prominent from the France semioticians. He examined on the Sorbonne in Paris and customized in lexicography. He put into the idea of signification and organized the foundations for the Paris College of Semiotics. He wedded Teresa Mary Keane. He and Roland Barthes had been considered the main French semioticians of their own time.
