Alfred Cortot

Franco-Swiss pianist and conductor known for his mastery of Romantic-era composers. He was students on the Paris Conservatoire with Émile Descombes and Louis Diémer. He was a supporter from the Nazis during Globe Battle II for factors that continued to be unclear provided his wife’s Jewish ancestry. His mom was Swiss and his dad was French. He became the first ever to make electric recordings of traditional music, you start with Franz Schubert’s Litanei and Frederic Chopin’s impromptus.
