Russian pianist who eventually settled in Australia where he impacted scores of upcoming Australian and New Zealand pianists along with his teaching. He was students on the Petrograd Conservatory and was a rules pupil at Tomsk. He toured China, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand with soprano Lydia Lipkovska through the early 1920s. He previously three wives: Mary Murdoch, Enith Clarke, and Isla Draper. He might have examined under Sergei Rachmaninoff, regarding for some historians.
