Alexander Albrecht

Composer who was simply extremely influential on Slovak music in the first 20th hundred years. He went to Franz Liszt Academy of Music from 1904 to 1908. He was mentored with the famous Hans Koessler and István Thomán. He offered as organist at St. Martin’s Cathedral from 1908. He wedded linguist Margaréta Fischerová in 1918. He and Bela Bartok had been close friends.
