Well-known for his Adobe flash Gordon and Rip Kirby comic strips, this cartoonist also done the trick Agent X-9 and Jungle Jim comics. He was the 1949 receiver of the Country wide Cartoonists Society’s Reuben Honor. He started his profession as an associate illustrator for such strips as Blondie and Tillie the Toiler. He was a 1996 inductee in to the Can Eisner Comic Publication Hall of Popularity. His relationship to Helen Frances William led to two sons and three daughters. His sibling, Jim Raymond, also got a career like a cartoonist, and his great nephews, Kevin and Matt Dillon, became effective screen stars. His artwork considerably influenced the profession and visual of Celebrity Wars inventor George Lucas.
