Russian-French painter, visual artist, and theatrical designer from the Futurism, Cubism, and Constructivism movements. She was also an associate from the avant-garde band of artists referred to as Supremus. She examined painting at Kiev Artwork School in the first 1900s. Her painting studio room became a gathering hub for the intellectual top notch of Kiev; she managed such notables as Anna Akhmatova, Osip Mandelstam, and Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine. She added to the Salon des Independants exhibitions in Paris in 1914. She was created into an upper-class Belarusian family members. She married attorney Nicolas Evgenievich Ekster in 1908. She was a pal of famed musician Pablo Picasso, who also presented her to Gertrude Stein.
