Aleksander Michalowski

Polish pianist, pedagogue, and composer known for the countless college students he impacted as well as for learning pianoforte technique. He began monitoring at Leipzig Conservatory at age group 16 and was known for training up to 10 hours every day. He trained in the Warsaw Institute of Music as teacher from the concert pianists’ course from 1891 until 1918. He was created in Kamieniec Podolski in Ukraine in 1851 although it was still an integral part of the Russian Empire. He was a devotee of Frederic Chopin and passed away on the wedding anniversary of Chopin’s loss of life, Oct 17, 1938.
