Albert E Brumley

20th century shape note gospel music composer. He was known for many wildly well-known hymns. His 1929 hymn ‘I’ll Take a flight Apart’ struck a nerve and became among the nation’s most well-known songs. It could go on to become included in Johnny Money, The Chuck Wagon Gang, Alan Jackson, Jars of Clay, and George Jones, to mention several. He founded the Albert E. Brumley Sundown to Sunup Gospel Sing in Springdale, Arkansas, in 1969. He was raised on a plantation in Oklahoma, chopping and choosing cotton before selecting professional achievement. He and Goldie Edith Schell wed in 1931. His kid Tom Brumley proved helpful as a nation music guitarist. He started his profession a era after German composer Richard Wagner.
