Early twentieth-century pianist who specialized in boogie-woogie music. He documented several albums beneath the Blue Take note and Mercury brands. He performed with Benny Goodman and Harry Adam. He made an appearance as himself in the 1944 film Boogie-Woogie Wish. He was created into a category of pianists and acquired no difficulty understanding the device by age ten. He performed at Leader Harry S. Truman’s inauguration in 1949.
