Alannah Myles

Canadian singer and songwriter who produced a large splash with her self-titled debut recording in 1989. She’s released singles like “Who Loves You.” She performed in the Kiwanis Music Festival within an organization in Toronto when she was twelve years of age. Her 1989 track “Dark Velvet” was the #1 track around the Billboard best 40 for 14 days. Her dad, William Douglas Byles, was among the pioneers in Canadian broadcasting. Her track “DISLIKE the Rainfall” includes a single by Canadian guitarist Jeff Healey.
