Biography

Test pilot who in 1961 became the very first U.S. astronaut and second individual in space. He was also the 5th person to walk the Moon and famous by striking two tennis balls in the Moon’s surface area. He graduated in the U.S. Naval Academy in 1944, and he went to the U.S. Naval Check Pilot College. He offered as commander of Apollo 14 and was regarded for his accurate getting from the vessel. He wedded Louise Brewer in 1945 as well as the couple acquired three daughters jointly, Laura, Alice and Juliana. He was a famous astronaut like Neil Armstrong.
