Al Unser


Four-time winner from the Indy 500 and dad of Al Unser Jr. He won the PPG Indy Car Globe Series Tournament in 1983 and 1985. Before enterting the best leagues of race, he competed in sprint vehicles. He became the 3rd racer to earn the Indianapolis 500 4 instances. He wedded Wanda Jesperson on Apr 22, 1958, and after their divorce in 1971, wedded Karen Sue Barnes on November 22, 1977. His sibling Bobby Unser was also a NASCAR rival.
