Biography

Vocalist and songwriter known for founding the electronic task Owl Town, whose independently released debut record reached #15 over the U.S. Dance graph. Experiencing insomnia, he started producing music in his parents’ cellar and publishing it on MySpace and on iTunes. His strike one, “Fireflies,” marketed 650,000 copies in its initial week and reached #1 over the Billboard Sizzling hot 100. He grew up Christian and it has claimed to get Asperger’s symptoms. He has described himself being a socially introverted person. He collaborated with Carly Jepsen on “Great Period” in 2012.
