Psychiatrist and teacher emeritus in the School of Pennsylvania’s Section of Psychiatry. He also became the daddy of cognitive therapy. He started developing his ideas about cognitive therapy while portion being a psychiatrist on the School of Pa in the initial area of the 1960s. His efforts to psychiatry had been expansive, like the advancement of self-report methods for unhappiness and anxiety, specifically the Beck Unhappiness Inventory, the Beck Hopelessness Range, as well as the Beck Nervousness Inventory. He fathered Judith S. Beck, who also became a specialist in cognitive therapy and offered as President from the Beck Institute. He was honored the Sigmund Freud Prize this year 2010.
